Oh cool..u got a belly dancing blog too! I am forever waiting for another belly dancing enthusiast so we actually share something, rather than only me passing the information and lesson.

I think that Rachel girl is sort of tribal in her style. ( although I only watched a few seconds of that clip, I'll confirm back when I finished watching it ).

But please keep the entries and videos coming! :D.

oh yeah, she's definitely tribal style. n silly me, i didnt notice that u link her up in ur entry. didnt u just like their style?? i believe tribal style has the most amazing movement. it's less seductive but very,very impressive.

i just came back from my uni's Cultural show...they suck man....not as good as the videos here.

another turn off is some of the bellydancers are so fat.....

bellydancer: Yes, she was dancing for a tribal fest, hence the tribal style. I really like what she does with her camel .. the way she ripples her belly .. man, that really takes amazing muscle control. I tried doing it. It's not as easy as it looks.

chin kian: somehow, I think that a little fat helps. I think I am a little too thin. Ironic, cause I am always complaining about my weight!

I've seen Rachel Brice live from up close and I can say she is nothing short of amazing. She has this mysterious, entrancing aura about her. She moves like a snake and almost appears inhuman. If you ever get the chance to see her perform in your area, you really should go for it. There is no one like her out there when it comes to the tribal fusion style of belly dancing.
